Nandani focuses on how best to develop effective leadership in global business and governmental organisations. Since 2012 she has been Director of Leadership Development at Maersk Group in Copenhagen and Adjunct Professor at CEIBS, bringing her experience to driving the leadership culture in a global conglomerate.

She has led seminars and consults on the implications of globalisation around the world on topics including:

- Developing cultural agility as the new competitive edge
- Structuring the organisation for success in multiple markets
- Building top management diversity as a strategy for global success
- Mapping the impact of Asian world leadership on Europe and the US
- Developing the global mindset in the organisation

Nandani developed her views on global leadership through working in India, Germany, China, the US, South Africa and 39 other countries.

With a Ph.D. in Cultural Anthropology from Cornell University, she has worked with large organisations in the US, Germany and Denmark, run an organisational consulting firm in China and was Vice President Asia of Thunderbird School of Global Management before becoming Professor at the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) in Shanghai.

She has over two decades of international consulting experience in the private and public sectors.

Nandani’s research and publications appear in leading journals including Harvard Business Review, Organisational Dynamics, and the Wall Street Journal. A frequent international speaker, her engagements have included presentations at CLSA investor conferences, The Conference Board, Criticaleye, World Economic Forum China Business Summits and management conferences.
