Geraint Anderson

CEO
TT electronics Geraint is the Chief Executive of TT electronics plc, a UK listed electronic component specialist for defence and aerospace manufacturers. He joined the company in 2008 and has taken it through a significant re-focusing over the last five years, leaving it in a strong position for growth when he steps down at the end of June 2014. Geraint will be pursuing a portfolio career of non-executive roles.
 
In 2013, Geraint was appointed to the board of Volex plc, a provider of interconnect solutions and power products, servicing the telecommunications, datacoms / data-centre, industrial, consumer and medical sectors. As well as being Non-executive Director, Geraint will chair the Remuneration Committee.
 
Before joining TT electronics, Geraint worked for Cisco for eight years, firstly as VP Service Provider Business in Europe, then as VP and General Manager of the World Wide Service Provider Organization for Linksys, a division of Cisco Systems, Inc. 
 
Prior to joining Cisco, Geraint held senior leadership roles at Pirelli. He ran their world-wide communications business, Pirelli Cables, based in Milan, Italy; he was CEO of Pirelli’s fibre optics communications group; and CEO of Pirelli UK, a plc company with full responsibility for seven manufacturing plants, R&D, Sales and Marketing. 
 
Geraint holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Studies (University of Wales) with a TEC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (Chester College) and a Diploma in Marketing (Manchester University). He is married with two grown up sons. His interests include keeping fit and playing golf.
