Robin holds a range of non-executive positions in both the commercial and voluntary sectors. In addition to his role as Criticaleye Associate, he is currently a non-executive director of Nimbus Communications, a Bombay-based international sports media and marketing business. He is a director of the ITV Pension Scheme, Chairman of Headlong Theatre, Britain's leading touring theatre company, and Chairman of Tourettes Action, a charity dedicated to supporting people living with Tourette Syndrome. Robin's last full-time role was as Managing Director of Discovery Networks Europe until 2007. He joined Discovery in 2002 after returning from an extended period living and working in Asia, where he was MD of Walt Disney International TV (Asia-Pacific), based in Hong Kong, and before that MD of Carlton Television’s operations in India. Before moving into international television, Robin’s career since university was in the UK broadcasting sector mainly at ITV, culminating as MD of London Weekend Television Broadcasting. Robin was educated at Sussex, LSE, and Oxford. He is married with two adult sons, and enjoys theatre, wine, and sport -particularly skiing and rugby, -he is a long-standing member of Harlequins. Robin has been a Criticaleye Board Mentor since 2008.
