Tom Taylor

Tom has considerable experience of mergers and de-mergers, financial and performance turnarounds and transformational change in both the Public and Private Sectors and working with the highest levels of Government. He can view issues from the different perspectives of being a Chair, Chief Executive and NED, he has previously worked in the Manufacturing, Energy, Consultancy and Healthcare Sectors.
As Chief Executive of the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board, where he has staff in five countries and export markets to fifty, he has transformed a loss- making business into three consecutive years of profit. He sits on a number of influential Government Committees and is also a member of the invitation-only, Institute of Grocery Distribution Policy Issues Council, together with the CEOs of all the major retail and wholesale companies. Passionate about developing people to their full potential, Tom always encourages them to think innovatively, about even the most mundane of tasks.
He is also Chairman of Meat & Livestock Commercial Services Ltd and a Non Executive Director of the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual), which regulates the standards for 'GCSE' and 'A' level examinations, where he uses his twenty yearsexperience as a Finance Director to Chair their Finance Committee. He is also a member of the Criticaleye Advisory Board and the Allocate Software Healthcare Advisory Board.
Tom is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants, a Fellow of the Institute of Directors, a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute, a Fellow of the Healthcare Finance Managers Association and a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy.
