Managing Director Corporate & Public Sector
Criticaleye

Charlie’s involvement, since the inception of Criticaleye, combined with his diverse industry background, gives him a unique understanding of the challenges and leadership issues facing today’s global senior executives. As Managing Director and Co-founder of Criticaleye, he believes that an organisation’s longevity and need to innovate can only be achieved by encouraging leaders to seek constant change as a corporate citizen within an 'inspirational' framework; he is a great believer in the mantra ‘be the change you seek’ (Ghandi). As well as being a Board Mentor, and Career Adviser, Charlie chairs/facilitates strategy discussion groups, retreats and panel stress tests on topics ranging from Board dynamics to Digital Transformation.

Prior to founding Criticaleye, Charlie was based in Africa (Zimbabwe and RSA) as Director, Operations and HR, for CDC Capital Partners, a VC conglomerate operating across Sub-Saharan Africa, and oversaw 16 commodity businesses employing over 30,000 employees. From 1990 to 1997, Charlie worked for Corus Tata, where he managed the provision of HR for its Head Office, established the Corus European Work Council and installed a management development structure across its six world regions. Charlie has also worked in local government (London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham) in an industrial relations capacity during periods of major employment legislation upheaval.

Charlie is very interested in, and written on diverse subjects such as 'Personal Brand', 'Leaders Legacy' and 'Social Networks'. Married with two inspirational children, he has very eclectic interests and numerous pursuits. Charlie still has close links with the African continent and ventures over there whenever he can find a great excuse. He also tweets under the name of 'Chascritical'.
